The Workgroups reports to the Subcommittee Chairperson.
The Subcommittee report to the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee reports to the Pastor.
The Pastor reports to God and the Church.
The church will review the findings/reports as presented by the Pastor, and most likely will vote whether to proceed or conduct more research if certain information is not clearly understood. Prayer will be the emphasis throughout the process to ensure God's blessings as we build an edifice unto Him.
The Pastor will review the recommendations of the subcommittees along with the steering committee comments. The Pastor will then consult with God as to accept, modify, refine, or request that the process be implemented again until he feels that the information is adequate for a final decision.
The steering committee oversees the efforts of the subcommittees and the workgroups. The steering committee receives reports/findings from the various subcommittees then refine, accept, make additional recommendations, or rejects the information before submitting it to the Pastor for review. This committee will only receive data from the subcommittees and not the workgroups. This is to ensure that things are done descent and in order as God would have us all to do.
Their are seven various subcommittees to assist with the building efforts at Zion Hill. Each subcommittee plays an important role in making this process a success for the Glory of God and to support the Pastor's vision and ministry of inclusion. The people parish without a vision. So our goal is to know that we know what we need for God's Glory. The building process subcommittees are as follow in Jesus Name:
Phase I Planning and Design Subcommittee
Phase I Data and Feasibility Subcommittee
Phase I Property Subcommittee
Phase I Construction Subcommittee
Phase I Furnishing Subcommittee
Phase I Promotion (publicity) Subcommittee
Phase I Finance Subcommittee
Workgroups are small individual groups of people that may be called upon to research or study a particular subject matter the pertains to the building process and our needs. The workgroups are created by the subcommittees and would report all findings to the subcommittee requesting their assistance.
